Celui-ci peut s’ouvrir et se fermer même si le mécanisme n’est pas automatique, mais manuel. Il a d’ailleurs dû modifier un peu le mouvement du bouclier afin de pouvoir le reproduire. Miroslavus montre le processus de création du bouclier archéonique dans sa vidéo. Il teste ensuite la durabilité de ce dernier qui est très solide dans le jeu. La réplique n’est évidemment pas aussi résistante, mais elle a survécu à l’assaut d’une épée jouet, d’un bâton et de fléchettes en mousse. Néanmoins, le bouclier n’a pas aussi bien résisté aux bouteilles en verre et au tir d’un pistolet BB de 9 millimètres qui a laissé un impact. Enfin, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild inspire de nombreux fans arts comme celui-ci. Les joueurs reproduisent souvent des objets et des armes du jeu dans la vraie vie.
